I am a PhD student in the History of Art Department at The Ohio State University. I received my MA degree in 19th-century French painting with an emphasis on gender issues. I later switched my focus to film and will be writing a dissertation on Jean-Luc Godard. During the summer of 2009, I was a research assistant to Barbara London, an Associate Curator in the Department of Media and Performance Art at MoMA in New York City. I conducted research for an upcoming project on the history of video art. I was also a Teaching Assistant at The Ohio State University for five years and co-taught a class on the history of world cinema several times. Finally, I was the Graduate Assistant to the Director of Film Studies at Ohio State last year.
I recently moved to Paris on a year-long Visa where I will be conducting research on my dissertation.
