Gino said it. It was really hard to watch but I stuck it out. I haven't seen the original so I can't compare them. Of all the Haneke films I have seen, this one was the most painful to watch.

Hi Long time but hey, I have been too busy watching movies and tv! Just saw A Prophet which is pretty good. I have to say the Hurt Locker was disappointing - maybe I have no ability to feel tension anymore (it's pnly a film etc. ) but nonetheless it was sadly lacking tension for me. I saw I've loved you so long and can't really believe how great Kristin ST is in this. I thought at first it was how she always is in movies but then I saw her slightly more glammed up in Tell no one, another one worth checking out. How is life in Cal? I am actually listening to KCSM jazz community radio on line from down your way. Nice

Ughhh, yes I think I am going...but not for any actual desire of plodding around a museum trying to block out Ronald's constant overexamination and trying to interpret things by MYSELF. I'm kind of obligated to go, not only cuz he wants us all to, but because he said it would be an opportunity to edit my film...>:P so i guess I'm stuck going. I am really curious about the Haneke film though--never seen any of his work, but I saw the preview for the white ribbon and it looks really good! So maybe that will make up for it. Ugh we did this activity last time though where we had to interpret and categorize all these pictures of rich peoples' houses, and Ronald was being riDICulous!!! And I'm afraid thats how he'll be at Moma. The funny thing was, he kept referring to all these rich people as really pretentious...heh heh...:P
