a wonderful documentary about the reconstruction of Aceh in one village post-tsunami and post-aceh independent conflict. beside a documentation, this is the story about hope and despair, saw through the eye of one person (the chief). we see his despair, hope, struggle, clumsiness, and even his soul. this wonderful documentary is available here http://www.forcedmigration.org/video/playing-between-elephants/media/

A meditation on time, a man, a nature, and life. Also very philosophical film from the man who has a clear vision on what he's doing. i wish i was more articulative to explain this, for now i just quote ulrich gregor "Give it a chance and this film will soon draw you into its own cosmos; it can be counted among those works that teach you to see and hear things in a completely new way.”

peter hutton brilliantly managed to create such atmosphere without exploiting any sounds, cinematography, or dialogue, and deliver the most fundamental being of film which is a moving picture. this is truly magical, one of the most captivating film i've ever seen.
