I agree that Varg is a dangerous fool with infantile fantasies about himself as some Viking messiah. I think the film made his foolishness clear, however.
Fucking gross, but so fun.
The still's from Revolution.
It's funny that the new ending had to be rushed, considering it's probably the most powerful and infuriating part of the film. Really well done ending to the trilogy, maybe the best of the 3.
My Thursday night plans. READY FOR IT.
The bonus material is much better than the film itself which just reiterates the same story anyone with the vaguest knowledge of early Norwegian black metal has heard. Plus the hard-on for Varg is all too obvious, not to mention stupid.
I think it did too, the question is whether or not the filmmakers were aware of it.
No commercials. NO MERCY.
For something that had real whiz-boom-bang potential...god damn was this boring.
Frisch nails it.
I didn't like that the ending was changed, but otherwise a great adaptation with solid performances.
Disappointing. Parts of it felt like a bad perfume ad.
I was so amped for this. I'm happy it met my expectations.
The last half hour is just grueling.
sweet in a sick way. i enjoyed it more than i'd originally thought.
any real creepiness dissipates once Blair turns into the full make-up, soup spewing, swearing mess. good, but with a disappointing ending. the spiderwalk did catch me totally off-guard though.
Still the only time I've screamed in surprise during a film. Granted I was 14, but still...
Nothing else like it. Grueling and incredible.
Everyone builds up that ending, but it was hilarious! Still, it does put it above a lot of the other slasher knock-offs of the 80s.
I didn't find it scary, but it's a lot of fun, flaws and all.
Hilarious.
Look how unconventional we are, LOOK.
Wet blanket supreme.
Childhood incarnate. Stop acting like Henry VIII!
That chick spreads like peanut butter.
Wasted opportunity.
Awful, though I did like her in Pride & Prejudice.
I really hope Portman doesn't ruin it.
Maybe the longest 90 minutes of my life.
Definitely agree. Incredible face, incredible talent.
I missed the US premiere of this a few years ago and will probably never forgive myself.
