RIP
A companion film to Night of the Hunter and Crazed Fruit. In some ways.
Didn't Korda direct this _with_ Pagnol???
I'm pretty sure he directed it _for_ Pagnol. Pagnol didn't take up the director's role until Cesar. Marc Allegret directed fanny

Le Château de sable?
In the Street...
Who knew such a poor film would go on to spawn perhaps the greatest game in video game history?
This film makes me want to put on a pair of gloves and hit the gym!
Quite a shame that this superb film - perhaps Hong's most ironic piece yet - still hasn't received an official Korean DVD release; not even KOFIC has a print of it.
An extremely polished film with an altogether intriguing style. An auspicious start!
watch this impressive short here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0TTZ35oq90
Gagman (1989), First Love (1993), Their Last Love Affair (1996), Nowhere to Hide (1999)
Bllackstar shine bright!
Looks just like Peter Lorre...
Frampton should be listed under "auteurs" - not "cast"

おけんきですか?
damn good film
damn do i miss river phoenix....
trademark renoir. his ability to flesh out the nuances of humankind is unmatched in cinema. If I wasn't a fan of him after watching Rules of the Game, I am now.
kick back and light a joint
i had only one problem with the film - the ending.
...and Wedding Party
if ever there was a perfect film...
my English professor is the daughter of Donald Moffat, the doctor in the film who advises Tomas to write down his political musings (and later to revoke them) I just think that's cool haha
i love this guy
