it's definitely the greatest use of classical music in a film, with maybe only fantasia besting it.

it was pretty amazing working there--free movies every week. as for '2001', i'm pretty sure half of the crowd (freshman students who were there for class credit) were almost rendered deaf at the first sound of 'zarathustra.' i don't think i've ever been to a screening where the soundtrack startled people into applause before!

nice! i think those directors were a bit before my time at the FVC, but i volunteered there the last year and a half i was attending UCI. i just saw '2001' there last thursday.
