I’ve always found getting stoned an enhance a movie for me. I’ve watched a lot of films when high and noticed I became much more absorbed within the film. Distractions that I would usually notice become obsolete and I notice a lot more about the films. Some stoner films, as expected are good to watch high, Cheech And Chong (Up In Smoke anyway), Kevin Smith films are particularly good and The Big Lebowski (in fact, all good Coen films provide a heavy watch). However, I watched How High recently for the first time, whilst high, and I found that to be a shambles and coulden’t appreciate anything about it. So, I suppose it could possibly go one of two ways. Who knows?
2012 sucked.
Knowing sucked.
Fast & Furious sucked.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine sucked.
2009 has had its fair share of stinkers.
I didn’t see any of these, but there was the Twilight sequel, various Zac Effron films, Jennifer’s Body, Transformers 2 etc etc.
Fight Club is a far better film than book, the book is good, but it’s perfect film material. Chuck Palahniuk has written some great books though, Choke, Invisible Monsters etc, Choke incidentally made a pretty good film aswell.
