No use in adding more hyperbolic rhetoric for Scorsese, Schrader and De Niro. We all know they're on the top of their game here. More attention should go to Hermann's soundtrack. It's the first thing I think of whenever Taxi Driver is mentioned. Let's not forget Keitel and Foster either. I absolutely love this film!
Came for the 'ultra-violence' but stayed for just how incredibly funny it actually is. Despite the 70's retro future setting, this film will continue to be fresh and contemporary. That's a testament to Kubrick's skill and Malcolm McDowell's charismatic performance. The ultimate teen movie.
