Well Done.
"Splice" was so disturbing at times but evoked an edge of your seat experience at the weirdness, beauty, and sometimes disgusting elements of it all. I enjoyed the film mostly just be prepared for some insane, deep, human and inhuman content.
The first time I seen this movie; friends and I made a surprise visit to the theater and chose "Seven" as the flix to see out of complete randomness. We hadn't seen any coverage or trailers. From the moment we sat down in the movie theater to the time the credits rolled, we were transported. It doesn't happen often that you can see a film you know nothing about and it be AMAZINGLY GOOD.
I liked this film; good characters and pacing. It also has sparked an interest to read the book.
I loved this film... until the ending. I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it but I think it was finished out of convenience rather than genius storytelling. Still worth watching at least once.
It's been decades since I've seen this film and I remember it so clearly. I think that says alot for the impact it can leave its viewer. I appreciate the story it told and the ability to make me care deeply for, "The Elephant Man."
I find myself watching this film over and over again. It is definitely a favorite. From beginning to end, I love it.
I watched this on Netflix instantly and it was an okay flix.
