Le ciel est blanc.
This ending... One of the greatest TV moment I've ever seen! The first series was awesome, but the level of this one, it's so more than I expected. Thank you Moffat, thank you Gatiss. Bless you!
Rooney Mara is perfect.
It's certainly one of the most important film this year. Moretti, like von Trier, shows us the chaos of the world, but with profound humanity. And this ending... What else?
She is divine.
The best french movie in 2011. Amazing, powerful, mesmerizing.
The Artist is sublime. A pure marvel. It doesn't disappoint a single second. Beautiful references (Borzage's films to Citizen Kane or Singin' in the Rain, etc.), the movie is a declaration of love, not only to the silent movies but to the cinema generally. It exceeds the simple pastiche to reach summits of emotion. And the casting is brilliant! The Artist is spectacular, the greatest declaration of love to cinema.
She is amazing. What else could I say? I love her.
Probably the film which excites me the most this year. I really can't wait to see it.
The movie is beautiful, but what it gains in visual beauty, it loses it at the level of the emotion, It won't be the case of The Thin Red Line, 20 years later. Too bad, it was almost close to the perfection Still, 5/5 aka 9/10.
A stunning masterpiece and my favorite vampire movie of all-time. (Then it's Let the Right One In)
I think there is no words to say how much I hate this film.
My favorite Kim Ji-woon. My favorite Lee Byung-hun. A great movie.
One of the best ending ever.
The last good film of Tim Burton.
The first time Buster Keaton is on screen. Just for this, it's pretty priceless, even if the second part is not as good as the first.
I just prefer this one to the first becauce there is Zhang Ziyi in it. That's enough for me.
Definitely my favorite of the trilogy, I'm surprised that Criterion didn't release this yet.
I think this great actor deserves a photo and a quote on his page.
Buster Keaton, I'm drowning in a sea of love for you.
The question is: where can we find it??
Entertainment on its level of perfection.
Mum, dad, I wanna be a street artist.
That was a great idea to add this story about this girl from Nagasaki. It gives an emotional force, a heart to this emotionally cold masterpiece.
The best thing in this film? Cillian Murphy. Definitely not the Daft Punk soundtrack.
Too academic, it would have gained to be much more subtle and give up the clichés. 3 strengths: the work on the sound (music of Clint Mansell and sound effects) is simply amazing. The final is intense and beautiful especially the black swan scene. And the visceral performance of Natalie Portman. It deserves 4 stars but because I love ballet and the work of the sound, I give it 5 stars.
Reminds me of Perfect Blue.
An amazing POP film: Poetic, Oneiric, Psychedelic.
2 stars for Mark Wahlberg. And okay that was good to use The White Stripes. And the scene in the bar is cool. But still. Mark Wahberg saves the film.
Is it possible to accelerate time? Please? 'Cos I really really want to see this.
