Pretty horrible in so many ways

Absolutely horrible audio engineering! The mix is so distracting it is impossible to focus on what is going on. Every audio engineer should know not to place lyrical songs and narration in the same mix. This could have been a very interesting short if they just left out the music. The narrator needs better direction also.

16 minutes was all I could handle of this home movie. I am a fan of Tiki culture and this just turned me off so badly. The people interviews are dull and ramble on about their inside friends who are really of no importance to the culture of Tiki. The doc would have been better off not claiming to be about tiki culture and instead focused on the particular bar almost the entire piece was shot in. FAIL!

Wonderful little short, the contrasting worlds brought together by grainy film made exquisite dreamy cinematography. The story tells of the sad truths of isolation in over populated metropolis areas, something which is a reality for both the landed and natives of the country. Worth a watch!
