Read with interest your review of *Possession*--nice insights all around ... re: the use of doppelgangers, if you ever get a chance to listen to Z.'s director's commentary on the film, he talks a bit about their significance. Daniel Bird's documentary on the film (http://mubi.com/films/the-otherside-of-the-wall-the-making-of-possession) is also tops.

Hey, thank you for your comment and recommendations, I think I am going to watch this documentary when I have some free time! Although I have done my best in trying to fully understand the movie, some questions still remain...
