Did you really walk out of Avatar? I haven't seen it but I have a hard time imagining anybody could go into that movie expecting something so different from the "reality" of the film that they would walk out without seeing it all. Was it horribly offensive to you in some way? I am just curious.
The thing that fascinates me about Tank Girl is not that it is an odd or poorly made film, but rather that it seems like 100 odd, poorly made films smashed together.
