I'm not sure it's as entertaining to interpret the ending as literal.
Before the ending, I felt that Take Shelter revolved around a man's inner fears and paranoid illusions, and the way it's told and envisioned in this film was remarkable. The ending, showing that the main character simply foresees a natural disaster is boring and a give-away for the audience. Really disappointing.
Mas actual que nunca
insane
This is one of the bests movies ever made.
Great comedy!!
Maria Annette Tanderø Berglyd is so wonderfully talented. To see this in a cinema in Oslo after being abroad for the last two and a half years really woke up a lot of memories :)
teenage apocalypse ftw!!
I really don't have any words to describe how much I love this film. Well OK, I have two: Hälsa Göring!!!
Another mind blowing film from two greats!
Stunning visuals, exactly how Argentina in the 90's looked like
Loved it, and I know I have to see it again soon so I can catch the little details I've missed this first time.
Wow, this was crappy!
Honest and beautiful piece of work.
This film could have used other tricks to make the story interesting instead of packing it full with an action movie-like score and non-stop drama (like yes, flashbacks). But on the other hand, this looks like a challenge on how long you can stretch time on a film about someone trying tp get out of a coffin using the bare essentials, and nothing else. For this, it definitely serves its purpose, and won.
Some original ideas and a lot of wonderful photography here, a nice surprise :)
Just the movie I needed today!
Now I finally got to see how the family in The Seventh Continent would be like if they weren't dead.
Dom kallar oss mods!
Disappointed. The court room scenes are unnecessary and, together with the boring animation breaks and tiring effort to make reading poetry interesting in film, made me lose interest pretty quick. But I liked Franco as Ginsberg, and found some of the monologue interesting and well played. The photography and post-prod are also appreciated, but does not offer anything original. These 90 minutes felt like forever
WOW. Original!
Love him in True Romance
Even putting The Passenger in the same sentence as The American is fucked up beyond all recognition. Bad script, horrible acting. Photography OK.
Irrational fear destroys all! The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street
BEST. PARTY. EVER.
BRAVO!
