About Me

Founder and former program director, Filmfest Oslo. I’m also working as a film journalist for several Norwegian film magazines + marketing coordinator at Scanbox (one of the biggest Nordic film and entertainment distributors). I have worked with films like To Rome with Love (Woody Allen), Taken 2 (Olivier Megaton), The Intouchables (Olivier Nakache, Eric Toledano), The Bully Project (Lee Hirsch), The Place Beyond the Pines (Derek Cianfrance), Palme (Kristina Lindström, Maud Nycander), Only God Forgives (Nicolas Winding Refn), among others.

I’m a huge, huge Bond fan

Very interested in film marketing/promotion and public relations (trends, campaigns, viral marketing etc.).

Every year I watch about 450-500 films, many at international film festivals. All in all, a film geek deluxe!

My favourite quotes:

“I’ll either become a very rich and famous man, or die like a dog in the gutter.” Sam Spiegel (The producer behind legendary and classical films such as Lawrence of Arabia, The Bridge on the River Kwai and The African Queen ).

“Is the cinema more important than life?” (François Truffaut)

“We are in the transportation business. We transport audiences from one place to another.” (Jerry Bruckheimer)

“I don’t film messages. I let the post office take care of those.” (Bernardo Bertolucci)

My real passion for film / moving images began when I saw The Empire Strikes Back, GoldenEye, Fanny and Alexander, Back to the Future, Raiders of the Lost Ark, the original (Norwegian) Olsen Gang series and many Disney films in the 1990s. From then on I began to explore the rest of the film history.

Så bra! La merke til ratingen nå. Hva vil du si er filmens fremste kvaliteter? Og regner med du i utgangspunktet kanskje ikke blodfan, så spent på hvordan du liker konseptet / universet? .)
