Simply stunning in so many ways. Go see it.
Strange and wondrous, like a found film...
Reminds me also in an oblique way of "The World, the Flesh and the Devil" (1959).

Where is "Golden Earrings"?
This is worth seeing more than once.
Where is "The Flame of New Orleans"?
It still has the power to surprise.....
Overdone, overblown.....In your face fantastic. If Louise Brooks and Marilyn Monroe ever did a picture together, this would be it.
Zygmunt Malanowicz's looks are almost like Laurence Olivier's.
In 2012-2013, someone needs to do a short on the last chapter of the book, starring Claudia Cardinale, Alain Delon, Lucilla Morlacchi, Ida Galli, & Ottavia Piccolo, exactly 50 after.
The picture shown is of Grace Kelly.
Soon, L'Enfer....
& Cesar?
I 2nd Mr. Linder......
One of the most devastating films I have ever seen. Sometimes the unflinching camera got under your skin. Remember this was in the tumultuous year of 1968. The conditions in now Kolkatta are said to be improved since the filming.
There is "The Thirteenth Floor." Then there is RWF's scifi: Welt am Draht.
