About Me

Hello All,
My name is Nicole, I’m 20 years old, an aspiring actress, and movie fanatic!
I’m so obsessed I actually keep lists each year of every new film I see ( “new” as in new to my eyes ).
My final tally for the year of 2009 was 289. For 2010 I’m at 30. (slacking, I know)
Favorite directors are Kubrick, Lumet, Scorsese, Kazan, and Burton.
Favorite actors are Kate Winslet, Bette Davis, Claude Rains, Johnny Depp, Brendan Gleeson, Meryl Streep, Samantha Morton, Vera Farmiga, Tom Wilkinson and Chiwetel Ejiofor among many others.
I’m always up for debates or discussion on films and ALWAYS up for suggestions on films to watch that I haven’t seen. :)

Latest Update

Original

Meryl Streep

The be all and end all of film acting in my mind. Simply stunning!

Just read your review of Now, Voyager - glad to see someone is keeping the Bette Davis flame alive, I thought I was the only one! You might interested to check out my blog, I'm currently embarking on a Bette Davis film marathon and will be updating it with reviews and tidbits over the coming weeks: www.dreamtreader.tumblr.com.

Glad I made an impression, and thanks for the comment. I guess you shouldn't have too many expectations before you see a movie, but I really did have high hopes for "Children of Men," and it left me *cold.*

i'm a gleeson fan, too... i saw him in 'a further gesture' last night (released in the states under 'the break')... not a lead; that went to stephen rea, but a good performance none the less... loved him in 'the general'.
