Best Christmas present I've gotten this year: Sunset Boulevard Collector's Edition. Will watch tonight! :)

Saw the trailer for this and thought: Colin Firth gay? That makes SO much sense.

Although this is still a very good movie, I was somehow underwhelmed because I was not expecting what I got. Vera Farmiga is just superb, can I say first off, and George Clooney and Anna Kendrick are also very good. I think the main thing that threw me off is that J.K Simmons, Zach Galifianakis, Jason Bateman, Melanie Lynskey and Danny McBride are all in the opening credits and all SEVERLY under used. Melanie Lynskey literally had ten lines maximum. Everyone else except Bateman is just a one scener. I was really let down by that. The story, pacing and writing are all really good, but I could not get over the complete waste of wonderful talent! So hopefully if you read this and are pre-informed to not get your hopes up about the opening credits, you'll enjoy it even more than I did. Still a really great film, well worth seeing.

This movie haunts and intrigues me just as the shoes do to Moira Shearer. Every time it's on I watch and marvel. It has some strange power over me, and every time I see it, I only love it more!! :)

IRT Ret: I've killed people for less. Watch yourself.

I really feel that Tom Wilkinson is one of the greatest actors working today and terribly underrated. He is sublime!!! Wonderful actor!

Without a doubt one of the greatest and most versatile actors to ever walk this earth!!
