I tried to make one of these as speculative cover for “The Man Who Killed Don Quixote” but I failed. Someone PLEASE take the baton.
Can other people see my pics? ‘Cause I can’t…
It was on TV today. I always loved that panel from the novel. It reminds me of some of MC Escher’s stuff.
Has Criterion ever had an animated movie? (Other than Akira on Laserdisc)
Depressing one…
Last one for tonight. And anyone who knows what I’m talking about… I love you.
Box set: (Title is the general consensus and may not be my pick for best movie ever made.)
The Catwoman cover bugs me because it’s not the Halle Berry costume, it’s more of a Darwyn Cooke comic costume. But I’m a nerd like that, so you shouldn’t take it into consideration.
Ivan the Terrible and his son Ivan on Friday, November 16, 1581 by Ilya Repin
We need more covers for actual short films…
Further short filmmaking!
Alternate evil cover…
Challenge idea: TV movies and mini-series.
Not the definitive cover, but I’m happy with how it captures the all of the different ways the movie uses to tell its story
This one feels more definitive and Criterion-y, but I think I prefer the first one
