the picture's from scream 2 tho. i grew up on those movies. when i published a top 100 movies list in my school paper, the first scream was somewhere in the 70s. first was taxi driver and second i think was saving private ryan.

haven't ventured into any of rohmer's films, well, save for the first two of his moral stories, but I suppose I will tackle his "masterpieces" in the ensuing months.

Thanks for your interest Alex. My favorite working filmmaker is without a doubt Paul Thomas Anderson. I am a great fan of confident intellect and ambition rather than mousy indie fiddling. I feel I am in the hands of a burgeoning master when viewing P.T.A's work.
