Dian Fossey is a wild lady
Could have been so much more, but the last 20 minutes were phenomenal
Strippers vs. Zombies: hilarious, trashy, perfect
PERFECT
Just awful... Not only was it incomprehensible (in a bad way), but it was also just fucking boring. (Though, the ending was fun when he finally shut up)
Wear a lot of leather, smoke a lot of cigarettes, eat McDonalds happy meals, and don't get the guy... This is fiction, especially if you're Rooney Mara.
It's really 3.5 stars
I can't remember the last time I've seen acting this bad.
Steamy
Captured so much about youth and longing at a level that isn't as over the top as his other films. Also, James Duval looks so beautiful, so sad.
Zoe Saldana, looking hot, kicking ass... It's really a no brainer
The pacing was a little weird, but the scenes of violence were very stylistic
This fell flat for me in a lot of ways.
This is the only level of beauty I ever want to talk about.
I can see how this can be very hit or miss. A lot of clever subtleties... and the ending...
Also, I really wanted to like Kirsten, but Charlotte acted circles around everyone else. I especially found her portrayal of the relationship between Claire and her son to be really expressive and powerful.
I think what's really great about Part 1 of the film is that it so distinctly sets up time as a parameter that both the audience and the characters need to work through--a notion of 'waiting' (and the subsequent banality of what most would call a monumental event), given that it's the end of life on Earth.
Fucking terrible
Great performances from the three leads, but the movie leaves much to be desired. Also, maybe Kristen's best role to date? Meow.
Generally agree that this is better than its predecessors (though that's not saying much)... but it's kind of fine, because Kristen Stewart looks as babely as ever.
Recently revisited this, and the ending still gutted me.
I feel kind of gross for laughing as much as I did while I was watching this movie.
Just awful
Not my favorite Argento but still sososo awesome. Also visually very similar to Suspiria... And can we talk about the cats???
Beautiful
Hot and dumb--as usual a winning combination
Awesome
This also reminds me of Crooklyn. Young, fun, will bring you back to your childhood and/or to people you've known.
Not a perfect film by any means, but had some lovely moments
Started miserably but picked up... Honestly, there wasn't much to like here.
