I’m not even trying to defend it, but I went to see it not only once, but twice. I’m still ready to bet that in 10, 15 years it will be considered a great and … I don’t know… trailblazing movie.
jerome: I agree on your opinion on what Larry Clark did before, but I think the sexual and disturbing aspect of Ken Park IS at the core of its very substance. sex as rebellion, as utopia, as a negotian of the bigotry of the adult world.
would be cool if one could sort the directors in the “favorite auteurs” section of the profile. i added a lot of them, but not necessarily the ones i like most first. just a little feature and not very urgent, but would still be nice.
what about a (commented) “links” section to which you could propose your favourite websites, online movie magazines… and so on.
and – seen the internationl aspect of the auteurs – maybe sorted by language? i know some great german sites, but would like to have some hints at good french and english ones.
