About Me

I’m an english major, going into education. I love the art of storytelling regardless of the medium. Film is one of my biggest hobbies, and I attempt to enter films with as little bias as possible. Expect many reviews and lists, and please give my previous reviews a read if you feel inclined. In those I will be dissecting my thoughts on my viewing experiences.

Au-revoir-les-enfants

Au revoir les enfants

This film shook me more than any other film in recent memory. The story of a boy coming to terms with prejudice, and being confronted with the stark reality around him. It's a brutal depiction of a loss of innocence, but one that everyone should experience.

No worries, I saw it on Tommy's activity. I can't resist agreeing with someone who praises that film.

Haha, well to be honest it's the only film on the list (that I've seen) which left me pretty lukewarm. I didn't hate The Lady Eve, I'm just not crazy about it. I know it's not the popular opinion but I found it rather bland, and I couldn't connect to the male character at all. I rated it 3 stars still, so that shows you how great the list is.

Alright, I'll give it -1. I just didn't know what else to use my votes on.
