paper heart is the worst example of self-aware; see it and it may make you appreciate the fact that at least jaglom’s films are watchable and oft more than that
rodney dangerfield, jimmy durante, chico marx and warren beatty (when not directing) all the films they star in are their films regardless of who is directing. The muppets too.
Its strange. I could watch this rockford files tv movie dvd all the time; it’s formula and garner is almost 70 and a tough detective but it is watchable. Whereas Orson Welles don quixote and Michael Winterbottom’s a mighty heart are better films but I don’t want to ever see them again
year one, bride wars, underworld 3, battle for terra, transformers 2, tokyo, gallo, new moon, donkey punch, angels and demons, haunting in connecticut, my life in ruins, alien trespass, the golden boys, the box, push, surveillance, friday the 13th, the uninvited, shrink, the unborn, horseman, dragonball evolution, knowing, next day air, powder blue, janky promoters, observe and report, white out, adoration, my bloody valentine, humpday, managment, miss march, an american affair, herb and dorthy, coraline, the gf experience, open road, valentino, wolverine not quite hollywood, spinning into butter, crossing over, pink pather 2, drag me to hell, notorious, astroboy, whatever works, madea goes to jail, not easily broken, the perfect getaway, away we go, star trek, where the wild things are, land of the lost, vengeance, paul blart, paranormal activity, great buck howard, the proposal, the fourth kind

Venice/Venice (1992) is a masterpiece and most of his films are at least watchable.

based on the man who cried and orlando, she would give a nice dramatic element to the stories plus she could do any worse than the new moon director

fair enough but I wouldn’t say that festival in cannes or most of the ones that jaglom isn’t in are very self indulgent
