ehhhh...liked it but probably won't watch it again.
Loved this!
wtf, where was Leonardo DiCaprio in this movie? I've watched this a 1000+ times!
Found this last night and bought it because I love Gregg Araki's films so much. I have no idea what to expect...but I can't wait to watch this!
I CANNOT WAIT to watch this!! :D
WORST MOVIE EVER!!
I'm so happy to find this listed on mubi!! This film really does something to me. I find myself a little embarrassed at my absolute love for this film but it's so nostalgic and reminiscent of my life as a goth kid. I'm so in love with the soundtrack and the scenes with Karen Black. Ugh, I've been so obsessed with this film ever since I saw it for the first time last summer!
So happy to see this finally added to the mubi site. One of my favorites.
I can't believe I haven't seen this in it's entirety until last night. This movie made me very happy. :)
I was entranced by this movie. I loved it.
This was horrible! Only 2 things made this worth watching: Tom Waits and some of the location & driving scenes (only because I'm a sucker for road movies). But this was really one of the worst movies I've seen in quite some time.
amazing.
So in love with this film!!
just couldn't make it through this one...
Jailbait
Ouch...just saw this at the IFC Theater in NYC without a Q&A and 'Happiness' Screening, which would have made the experience SO much better. Completely agree with Christopher Smith. It had it's amusing moments but overall, in my opinion, this is his weakest film.
Total guilty pleasure!!
highly erotic.
Had the chance to see this open at Cinema Village in NYC. I, as well as many others, laughed the whole way through. Harmony was there for a Q&A after the film. His responses to some of the more "deeply analytical" questions from the audience were priceless. Another true gem from one of my favorite filmmakers.
Poison Ivy!
Can someone add Pumpkin?
YES!!
So good to see this added!!
Meeting James Duval and getting this DVD signed was such an excellent moment!
YES!!!!
I love this film for the beautiful landscapes, the roadside motel scenes, and seedy neon colors throughout the film. I even enjoyed the characters and the acting but the dialogue or lack of dialogue is what killed it for me though. I was just waiting patiently for something exciting to happen. I found myself very anxious toward the end and was a bit let down. The visuals completely made this film for me.
I really enjoyed this movie.
Opens Friday, December 11 at the IFC Center http://www.ifccenter.com/films/my-son-my-son-what-have-ye-done/
Excellent film!
and Manic!
