I’m a 48yr old typical Kiwi male who enjoys a wide variety of films,my favorite directors are David Lynch(Blue Velvet,Dune, Twin Peaks),Quentin Tarintino(Kill Bill,Resivouir Dogs,Pulp Fiction,Killing Zoe)& Peter Jackson,(Bad Taste,Lord of the Rings,Avatar)I also really enjoy watching all of the Montey Python movies & Guy Ritchie,9train Spotting,Snatch.
In general i find English Films more up my alley as i find them more real & there sence of humour is found in the obscure off beat situations as 4 Peter Jackson,as i’m a Kiwi i have to like our greatest director & i also did about 30 days as an extra on Lord of the rings,The 1st day I was a Gondorian Soldier & was outfitted in HERO armer which was the real chain mail ect as i was going to be to the front in the days shooting,It was the scene in which Frodo & Sam are released by Farimair,Watching this scene over & over in slow motion & frame by frame,i think i may be in 1 frame so I’m a movie star,I was also a Ranger ,an Orc & an Easterling.All i can say about being an extra is they feed u well,It also gave me a small insite into the makeing of movies,What a palavar!
