this movie was terrible. I laughed throughout the whole thing. after reading the book hitchcock thought the characters were too developed and the protagonist looses. so hichcock had to spice it up and rewrite the thing so the hero gets the girl and the bad guy is killed. acting was pretty awful along with the ridiculous plot that was manipulated terribly. Alfred hitchcock is the most overrated Hollywood director.

I never had such a connection to a character such as charlie kaufman. Maybe that's my future...

After re-watching this famous film I feel that Orson Welles knew his chance to make more films was at an end. The end of Touch of Evil was truly the end of Orson Welles. Just floating in a river hoping to be put out of his misery after he had fattened up with insanity

The addicts weren't even human. To me it looked like hell kinda reminding me of the title which is supposed to be Heaven and hell. Mifune's house being heaven looking down into the depths of hell. According to imdb there's a remake being made. Hopefully Steven King picks this up and and rewrites it and makes a twist in the end where the kidnapper was a demon in disguise!!!

With the new toy story 3 coming out it hurts to think that pixar needs help. I thought wall e was pretty great compared everything else that year. oh well

Why watch this when you can watch Avatar? CGI is where its at. Eventually there will be no real actors just CGI.

This was the biggest waste of my time yet. Roger Ebert said this would come close to Star Wars. Cameron spent plenty of time studying every movie that got an oscar so he could make a complete remake of Dances With Wolves which got best picture not to mention the willow tree from Pocahontas. I really did not care for anybody in that thing not to mention how dizzy you can get watching this thing. Shaky cam+3d+imax+no original plot= best picture.

Toshiro Mifune is such a trashy actor. I can't bear watching this film seeing him in this. Tom Cruise was the best in the Last Samurai. Best acting I have ever seen. Hopefully Ron Howard can pick this up and make it a masterpiece. Maybe we could use CGI in it and throw a ton of explosions in it and maybe put Tom Cruise's head on all the samurai so it could all be acted by him. 7 times more Cruise! 7 times the better movie!

This looks so disgusting to the point of being unwatchable. This reminds me of a terrible nightmare named Salo. Just because something is graphic doesn't mean it's shocking and powerful. There are reasons torture movies like Hostel aren't up on this site. Many films can have the same analytical thoughts without going to the extreme of throwing a camera into a dead corpse.
