One of Altman's most difficult movie: for one side is a homage to Berman's Persona, for the other is an original dreamy and hallicinoptic story. The final with the three (or just one?) women is incredebly hermetic. Shelley Duvall is simply wonderful, one of the best ever female interpretation: her face is the key of the movie.

It's simply the top of Japanese Cinema. A wonderful experience trough the Japanese Painting directed by Mizoguchi Sensei.
