The Skin I Live In

I love the mini genre of face transplantation horror(as in: Eyes Without A Face or The Face Of Another). I like the aesthetics Almodovar uses here, but that's about it. The characters remain uncompelling, even if Banderas' perfomance is astonishing(by his standards).

On The Silver Globe - I saw it once a while back and though I understood almost nothing, I could easily tell that it was a damaged masterpiece. What made me laugh about it was that after the Polish government halted production of the film when it was only 75% done, it still made just as much sense as anything Samuel Delaney ever wrote when he was able to fully develop a story. As for the other one you mentioned, I've never seen it. Do you think it would be hard to get my hands on a copy here in the states?
