you chronic ass.
BEST, up there with Female Trouble in my favorites
MAN-HATING LESBIANS OVERTHROWING A MONARCHY RULED BY EDITH MASSEY. WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE?
Weak ending but magical opening + THAT SCORE.
Bosley Crowther hit the nail on the head with this one, imo.
A+ and added fun for Twin Peaks fans to pick up the reference points (portrait, double life/mistaken identity, etc., but of course, most important of all, the blonde, captivating, perfect LAURA).
REALLY 5 STARS BUT -1 FOR BLACKFACE CUS NAW NEVER OK (and thats me being light)
Kaiju noir. A+
THIS DESERVES AN AWESOME SCREENCAP FOR SUCH AN EQUALLY AWESOME FILM, GET ON IT MUBI!
I just have a really hard time not giving 5 stars to a '90s teen movie with a riot grrrl lead.
I love this movie and I love the soundtrack, but by the fourth "parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme" in a row, I have to resist my urge to punch the screen.
can i call a 6 minute film my favorite ever? (yes)
3 stars for Liv Tyler and her outfits + the scene where she's dancing to Hole
Spat my soda all over the theater floor at that tunnel ending.
Gut's saying 4-star but memory is telling me 3. With Jeanne, Herrmann, the set-ups, and the basic premise, I feel like it should have been a lot more satisfying/entertaining than it ultimately was.
MUST SEE IN THEATERS. Its impact is elevated x500.
Ughhhhhhhhhhh how do you clear ratings? Ive never seen this.
I DON'T EVEN ESPECIALLY LIKE THE SERIES AND I CRIED. SO GD MUCH.
Mmmm, Shosanna for daze.
Idk where to ask this, but has anyone else had problems watching this on here? Everything is fine excpept for the audio. Listening on speakers it's hard to pick up on, but through headphones there's all these annoying pops or static spots here and there, especially when the volume increases. It does seem to disappear a bit before the one hour mark, however.
The absolute best. The ending had me 100% sold.
