I'm not to sure about Cuban politics these days. For me it shows great maturity from the regime to let this film be made! There were swipes at the revaluation. But I think Juan's ruthlessly embracing of a very neoliberal business model, shared out the political satire evenly. Not a masterpiece, though great fun!

haha thanks, i dont normally get that riled up about a move being inexplicably bad buuuut, i dont think i've seen a movie thats that one sidedly depressing before... at least a portrayal of the real world has some outs with the right choices.... i actually thought i was eventually gonna get flamed for posting that, so thank you again. but on a side note - is tinker tailer soldier spy really that bad? im a little worried now haha

I haven't watched "Life in a Day", but to be very honest with you, I doubt that my material had enough quality to be part of the film. It's more like archival material. Did you watch it? Any good?
