I think you might also appreciate Kędzierzawska's earlier 'The End of the World'.
i was going to say this is one of the most touching films I've ever had the chance to see, but that isn't quite sufficient. It's the most touching film I've ever seen.
What's the point of having a civilization when no one is interested in being civilized?
Lowest grossing film of all time? I'll watch it.
Like I said, check out "The Worst Movie Ever!" Looks hilariously atrocious. At leasr the name matches the gross.
Need to watch.
Adios mafia!
Definitely one of the best one man shows I've ever seen.
I guess I really haven't learned my lesson...
On so many levels, this is pretty close to the worst film I've ever seen. I had at one point thought that the Academy was a bit of a joke, but now I know.
My feelings exactly. I thought the performances were nothing special. They were a cast of caricatures. Awful awful film.
"There are better professions, but besides shepherds, this is closest to people." Such a great line.
Great character driven sci-fi piece. Special effects are much better than those of the cheaply made American B pictures, but still, I really like those too. Good stuff.
"I don't need anymore ideas, I'm confused enough already!"
Two actors, two of the best performances in an indie film I've ever seen and two actors probably nobody will ever hear about.
More than likely another shitty remake.
Beautiful...yes. But I always get the feeling that the material she's attached to is well beyond he capabilities. Her execution is solid, but there's no subtext. Beauty isn't everything.
I'm pretty sure Stillman has created some of the most unlikeable characters I've ever seen. Beckinsale plays a character with absolutely no redeeming qualities even when she tries to play straight and earnest.
Sitting down to watch this on the big screen for the first time!
Of course. Another really good film possibly ruined by an american counterpart.

Oh no!
Not very well versed in much of his work, but his documentary The Big Bang is pretty incredible and should be up here.
Where's The Pest?!?
Born Innocent (1974) please!
I'm retarded. I didn't realize that The Devil and The Flesh is Susana.
Pretty sure that this still is not from this film. I think it's from Cocconuts or Monkey Business, but definitely not from Room Service.
Susana(1951)
You would think, or at least I did, that a film by Ozon featuring Michael Fassbender would be decent.
Only because of the dog.
This Wilder short is being released as a supplement to the film A Film Unfinished by Yael Hersonski. Released by Oscilloscope Laboratories.
