Hey! Maybe focusing on life isn't such a bad idea.../= But! Films, yes. Ok, I loved 'The Day He Arrives'. I also quite enjoyed some German films, specifically 'Beats Being Dead' - great style, story, 'One Minute of Darkness', and 'Ghosts' was interesting too. I also quite enjoyed Cat Soup and then some of the 2011 Festival Films. I am looking forward to Michael Haneke's film as well as Abbas Kiarostami's for this upcoming year. I also want to see Alain Resnais' and Terrence Malick's "Funeral" for this coming year, among others. You should check out Shirin if you haven't already. You see a lot of great films too though yourself. I hope school and work is going well for you and remember to watch a film now and then!

Hiii, yes I've been watching some of the 2011 releases. I know isn't Sans Soleil lovely? I'd like to see it again too actually. Did you see 'La jetée' too? I like the films you've been watching recently, I always like seeing your ratings. I enjoyed 'A Separation'. I recently got around to watching 'The Turin Horse' too, which I loved. I just watched 'Bleak Night' tonight, which a very interesting film that maybe you should check out. Any classics you'd recommend as of late? Hope your New Years went well.

Cool. I think you'll really enjoy 'A Separation' when you see it in the theatre. I downloaded 'The Turin Horse' online, I may be able to obtain it for you I can check?? 'We Need to Talk About Kevin' was a film I really enjoyed stylistically from this year. Also, Bleak Night is great as I mentioned and Carnage is a fun film with a great script too.

5 stars for "The Skin I Live In" :) I think it may be my favorite Almodovar film.
