That was an excellent review of My Life Without Me. I'd written five or six paragraphs on it for another site and was going to post it here but you said everything I'd wanted to say and then some. Great insights. It really is a "true" film without artifice or Nicholas Sparks-type sentimentalism. Sarah Polley was tops.
loved your review of "my sister's keeper!" like my comment on it says, i simply do not understand the hate. the subject matter was done tastefully and i don't think tried to anchor itself on our pity for cancer patients and i have to agree with you, cameron diaz made me really surprised in how well she acted and how sincere it was! the actress who played kate was PERFECT. but yes, great review!!
