Thank you. We had Pierre last year visiting Lithuania. Seems like a nice fellow!
Hi Vaida, I met her once some years back in London. I didn't know who she was. She was introduced simply as Inge, a Russian actress. She was smart, funny, and extraordinarily beautiful, even more than on film. If I had not been deeply in love at the time, I surely would have fallen for her. Just a few weeks later, back in the US, my then wife and I were watching Burnt by the Sun when all of a sudden, we both shouted out That's Inge! We saw her in a few things around then, but nothing for a long time until I was surprised to see her as Hannibal Lecter's mother. Since then, I have tracked down whatever I could find with her. /// My favorite Hitchcocks are Rear Window, Vertigo, Shadow of a Doubt, and Notorious, but there are many more that I also like a lot. You have much pleasure ahead of you. Like John Ford and Howard Hawks, Hitchcock made some good silents, but did not really hit his stride until the thirties and sound. Then the War added depth to his vision. /// Stay well. Bob
