The Lady

Amazingly emotional, terribly important, well done film. Yes, sentimental, but the story calls for it. One from the heart.

I enjoyed the Coatesville film, thanks. It's interesting that you came to be at the Film Festival; good to have international representation! I must admit i don't know much about the history of Swansea where i was born or the small mid Wales town i was brought up in, though i once did a project on the county at school!

Oh, cool, thanks for watching. Local history is difficult for me to, had no idea about Downing from Devon! I really enjoyed the national waterfront museum in swansea. really amazing exhibits, cool building too.

I'm delighted you like Wales. Do see my lists The Welsh Connection, Kenji's Welsh Art Gallery and Welcome to Wales. Port Talbot area is an acting hotspot, not the prettiest place in Wales but Michael Sheen has been doing his bit for the town with his Port Talbot Passion.

Great lists, thanks! I have had the honor of getting an award at Sir Anthony Hopkins film festival in the Ray Milland Room (Blue Bell Hotel) delivered by Meyrick Sheen, Michael's father. I got to see the stage in the YMCA where Hopkins got started when he was a young boy- really cool. I'm an amateur actor, so I love seeing the real thing. I also love Michael Sheen and Peter Morgan collaborations- just brilliant! I miss Wales...

Seeing you're in Pennsylvania i at once thought of Groundhog Day and sure enough there it is on your page! It's some distance across the state though (just checked the map). Pennsylvania has quite a few Welsh connections historically doesn't it? Though i see Downingtown was named after a Quaker from Devon in England.

I am actually from a town over called West Chester, live in D-town now. I made a film with some young students about a town near me called Coatesville- it's a bit like Swansea maybe- used to be an industrial town. If you are really bored, take a look! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1718115/
