About Me

I was born in 1969 to a cult leader and a Venezuelan turtle tamer, then I found synth music and wrote the hit ‘The Promise’ with my band When in Rome. After getting kicked out of the band for going AWOL too many times (searching for buried pirate treasure, naturally), I started editing public announcement videos for the British Government. After getting tired of the hectic lifestyle, I resigned myself to maintaining Carlos Valderrama’s beautiful perm, in my role as his personal hairdresser and spiritual guide.

I think Haneke's austere, stripped back style is perhaps too much for the source material- it does end up being a bit dull and lifeless.

Just read some of your reviews. Liked your reading of Somewhere as well as the new Herzog. I'll still see it, but I think you set the expectation at a level that's right to view the film.
