I watched all three parts on the Sundance Channel this week. (Unfortunately Sundance is not on HD in Brooklyn Time Warner cable so I watched in SD.) Couldn't take my eyes off it. Enjoyed every moment. I wish I could find a list of all the songs used in the film.
Saw it this week at NYFF. Too early to talk about it in detail. Like all of Godard's films of the past three decades, simultaneously fascinating and difficult. I have to say, however, that I don't think it is as good as, say, "Notre Musique" or any of a number of his other recent films. A must-see for Godard-lovers like myself, but I can't recommend it to anyone else.
Just saw "Antichrist" tonight at the New York Film Festival. Too soon to gather my thoughts about this fascinating film, but just want to report that a man (sitting only three seats from me) went into some kind of seizure during one of the more shocking scenes in the film and had to be escorted out of the theater.
