your art keeps getting better. your newest pieces are incredible. you've always had a very distinctive style and it has developed so nicely. i liked the last youtube video you sent me. it reminded me somewhat of the rabbits by david lynch. i think you would like jorge luis borges's short stories. i read 'ficciones' and liked it a lot.

i love this. i like laurie anderson in general. i never saw this before. i like, especially, when she says that the images make the thing more real. like the abstract idea of a vacation (e.g. having a lot of fun, exploring a new place, etc.) never comes to fruition (because vacations are filled with boring parts, tedium, sunburn, etc.). however, the images you take, the condensing of the good parts of the vacation (the parts that make up the abstract vacation ideal) make it seem as though your vacation actually was that ideal, making it more real to us b/ we are so well acquainted with the ideal. and eventually we build up memories of the vacation entirely based on the images, and the ideal becomes our reality fully. dang. that is so cool.
