Sounds like you're having a good time. How long had it been for you? Yeah, I forgot to bring up the Istanbul fest earlier. Did you catch anything there? I watched Demirkubuz's "Kiskanmak" recently, a pitch-dark dialectic about physical beauty (or lack thereof) and its consequences in the material world. The film takes place in Zonguldak during the 1930s (which, I presume, is about the same time-period Nahit Sirri Orik's source novel is set in) but its themes are virtually timeless and universal.
