WATCH AND APPRECIATE IT FOR WHAT IT IS WORTH: ITS AESTHETIC MERITS, THE ORIGINALITY THAT IT BROUGHT TO THE LANGUAGE. WHO THE HELL CARES IF IT'S RACIST?!

Yes, I did! The theatrical version made its way to TIFF Bell Lightbox here in Toronto and I went. There were probably only about five people including myself at the screening, but it was a great experience. Really enjoyed the film, and it has inspired me to visit Portugal soon! How are you doing?

My goodness... Well, I think it's been more than a month or something since I replied to anyone on here! Really sorry about that. Work's been busy and the summer was just full of festivities that I wanted to make the most of. :P How are you doing? The Toronto International Film Festival is starting tomorrow and I'm very excited for it! :) And hey, Pripyat! I hope you get to see it soon. :)

Glad you're enjoying the sun! We recently came out of a heat wave here, so there's been some rain. But I'm very much tanned these days as well. I'm starting to get a bit upset in my Pessoa quest. I asked one of the workers at the bookstore that I like, and while he knew Pessoa and the book I was referring to (it so happened to be his close friend's favourite book or something), they didn't have it! Gah. Okay, I'll have to give him some more chances. I guess I'm not a huge comedy person for some reason. This sounds depressing, as I kind of do like my dramas and tragedies at times...
