Archangel is his masterpiece
a wonderfully interesting film. never a dull moment.
becoming one of my favorite directors.
one of the greatest things i've ever seen.
insane dialogue, magnificent camera style, despicable characters made possible through incredible performances. wonderful film. 5 stars.
Jim Carrey's performance in this film is fantastic.
Midnight in Paris is his best film in a while, or at least since Vicky Cristina. Overall a quite enjoyable film, with lots more laughs than much of his recent output. It also feels as though Woody enjoyed this film too. Didn't like Rachel McAdams though, and I wish Sheen's Paul character woulda had more screen time.
Allison Pill FTWWWWWWWW
I'll give this film 4 stars, but it's mainly for the last 30 minutes. That stuff really hit a nerve in me (no pun intended).
Kim Cattrall is so bad. Love this movie though.
Holy shit i have to see this!
even though the last two movies were utter disappointments, i'm still excited for this.
this was a fascinating film. i need to watch this over.
Di Palma and Antonioni do it once again. Very good film.
JUdy Davis is always a good lead.
a visual masterwork.
This is my second Godard film after Masculin Feminin and i loved every minute of it.
Apart from the sometimes forced Hollywood-ish sentamentality part, this film is pretty good.
really excited for this.
what's the best Maddin film to start with?
The Heart of the World is an excellent place to start, as it's one of his best and only 6 minutes long. Brand Upon The Brain! was the first feature I saw of his, and I've been a huge Maddin devotee ever since.
ordering it this week :D
this looks really good.
I feel like this film and Almodovar's Bad Education are similar in many ways. I prefer this film over the latter though.
This light film was generally enjoyable but between some lackluster singing performances, a somewhat slow pace, and an uneven storyline, the film was only "okay."
The abundance of recycled bits from past Allen films proved to be a bit distracting.
SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!
it was funny but didn't do too much for me as film.
I really enjoyed this. I especially enjoyed the subtlety of the film and the fact that there was not an abundance of dialogue in this film, which reflected the story well and the overall mood of the characters.
so many stupid folks think this was Baumbach's debut film. It was CLEARLY "kicking and screaming" (not the will ferrell version)
Should be coming in the mail next week. Hopefully...
ughhhh
