Here is from a female simpleton....the relationship btw Karin and Petra is one of use-and-abuse - it is not confined to lesbian relationships. There are lots of women who will enter into relatonship just to advance their career (gold digger?). Karin just stayed there long enough to get her c/v good enough to enter the fashion design world. Typical, Immoral, Smart, Woman.

It's so ironic for women.....the more beautiful and famous you are, the harder it is to endure the road downhill. It's a good reminder to us females that fame and fortune built on physical beauty doesn't last. Better get a career with longer shelf life.

I don't think it describes only "deeply depressed" people as Cesar mentioned - I think all women are somewhat "depressed" on a regular basis. The movie had captured the essence of women's inner psyche - it speaks from a woman's perspective, but written and directed by men. It's a better rendition of "women" than Woody Allan's movies.

Sometimes an idea in one's head is far more fantastic then when it's realized - this is the case with Blob. I don't think it should be a criterion classic. I wonder if people still likes the movie it Steve McQueen is not in it.
