<3 <3 <3 cinema and the discussion thereof in general; but ESPECIALLY <3 discussion of cinema with: A) Teenagers with little to nothing in the way of applicable life experience, whom, through the advent of the digital age (and perhaps the healthy salaries of mommy/daddy) have seen even the most obscure works from “dangerous auteur” directors that aren’t even represented in the Criterion collection by the age of 19 and B) Smug French Canadians that delve out knee-jerk condemnations of all cinema originating from The States. Those are my favs!!
