About Me

I live my life like a movie, it’s a nasty habit I picked up when I was a kid from watching movies instead of being outside. I project relationships, experiences and day to day activities like they’re all part of one epic screen-play. It’s gotten me into a few tight squeezes but I’m alive and well.
I should have gone to film school but right now I’m working on an English degree.
I go to school in Canada … it’s fun.
I think literature and film are intrinsic and could not exist without one another.
Being a pseudo-intellectual is a full time job.

I'm Not There.

Loved it ... but I would have loved it more if there was less of Richard Gere. Far less.

Being a pseudo-intellectual is a full-time job, only if you have to work at it. Real pseudo-intellectuals like me come by it naturally.

Surfing through this site, I saw one of your posts (on the page for My Winnipeg) and found your profile, and I read your "About Me" paragraph. I have to say I've always felt the same way, that my life is like a movie, and I think about moments as scenes, conversations as witty dialogue, and how it's all going to tie-in with other "scenes" and how epic the end will be. Yet I've never really voiced this, because I think most people would think I'm completely nuts. I also really like what you say about literature and film as hand-in-hand. I was also an English lit. major, and I watch films from that perspective and read books from a film perspective and get so much out of both. Good stuff. Who are some of your favorite writers?

Happy-Go-Lucky

In short the most fascinating character study of a female protagonist in recent cinema. Audiences have been settling for second rate corporate heroines (Carrie Bradshaw, Bridget Jones to name a few…  read review
