Tale of Tales is also on youtube. It's a short, like July. Ah.i see you're already familiar with Tarkovsky.

Tale of Tales is on a Russian Animation Vol 3 dvd, not sure if in UK. Andrei Rublev is a long slow film, but even so should be a good intro to Tarkovsky, his debut Ivan's Childhood is a more easily engaging alternative. July is on youtube.
