Hey my names Jay and im only 16 and i prolly haven’t seen as many films as most of u guys have but ive still seen my share of films! i hope to be a photographer, cinematographer, or a director someday! I love Criterion and i love the fact that there is a place for die-hard film fans now! :D
The Fire Within (Louis Malle)
2001: A Space Odyssey (Stanley Kubrick)
Bicycle Thieves (Vittorio de Sica)
Kill Bill Vol. 1 &2 (Quentin Tarrantino)
El Mariachi (Robert Rodriguez)
Cache (Michel Haneke)
Memory of a Killer
Juliet of the Spirits (Fellini)
Children of Men
Diabolique
why would u even ask this question! there are so many good films coming out in theaters and on DVD man. Im gonna have to get like a second job to afford to see them all lol
I think Tarrantino isnt a genius but just a really good director from what ive seen. I think Tarrantino is just good at making an interesting plot with numerous references to old movies and T.V. shows and music, then injecting a crapload of cussing and violence. Thats pretty much a Tarrantino film.
Im 16 and already im a Criterion junkie! I only have 4 Criterion movies, The Blob, The Fire Within, Bicycle Thieves, and The 400 Blows. They are expensive but i believe u get what u pay for MOST of the time. Every time my parents give me money i save it till i can get a Criterion movie lol
I thought Everything You Wanted to Know About Sex but were Afraid to Ask was hilarious! Although my favorite is Take the Money and Run. and Radio Days was really funny too!
My favorite bands/singers are Radiohead, The Beatles, Fats Domino, The Rolling Stones, and a lot more lol my favorite album is In Rainbows by Radiohead. and i play the saxophone
