I have tried over the past year, on two separate occasions to contact these guys via e-mail with no success. Anyone know how I can get my hands on these DVD's?

The hold of the beloved over the unloved runs very deep.
Including Ozu, Cassavetes, Silos and Bernal, a filmmaker I feel very close to and who seems to know much about me as well.
This is one of the films that has stayed with me for nearly a decade since I saw it.

Just came back from a local retrospective screening this work and Claire's Knee. Sad that I won't have time to watch the rest of the films in the next two days. New respect for his work. And apologies for an immature young man who didn't "get" Claire's Knee when I first saw it 7 years ago ...

Yes, where's "les choses de la vie?", 'Un Coeur En Hiver'? and "Vincent, Francois, Paul and Others?"
I've seen this only once during more of my immaturity, it needs to be revisited.

Copies are unfortunately difficult to come by. There have been no commercial releases on DVD of Lav's long form works so far.
Apart from the "shorts", past Batang Westside, all of Lav's works have been 5 hours upwards. His studio works (Regal Films) are all under three hours.
