You fished it out a dumpster :’( Dear God. I can only hope and dream that when I have the money I will be able. Also do you have a telecine machine so you can convert 35mm to 16mm or to another media format (so you can burn to DVD or put on computer for posterity)
Talking about film that original copy in the Argentinian museam that was found needs to be copied. That’s a few hours of lost footage!!! Jesus I really should have gone to film school instead of taking a real job :P
True. True. Yes its Metropolis I’m talking about. I really want to ask if some family members who do business down there. Could someone nip down the the museum with a telecine machine and make me a copy. I would cry if I could get it.

I follow Ebert and occasionally The New Yorker film reviews. That said I normally goto Rotten Tomatoes and check out the bad reviews first to see what people didn’t like and then the positive and I make an informed review.
Its a good super hero movie. Not a art film. Bad Idea to even bring it up here. That said I loved the movie. The first time in theaters was great, but the second time I was bored.
Johnny Rotten, “sold out” when he did the English butter commercial. I personally never thought punk was music as such, but documentaries such as this caught the excitement of the movement, and even got me listening to black flag.

I was wondering why the site looked to slick and had online streaming videos. Then I read the FAQ, you also sell movies through the site. That said, where could I?
The Party. I laughed and laughed and laughed when I saw this. Another favourite of mine, is anything by Charlie Chaplin. Monty Python’s movies are great to take the family too, but my family are all academics (well versed in literature and wit) and the found the low brow elements of Monty Python to be distasteful. I love Shakespeare (do the taped plays count?) and The Importance of being earnest (the book more than the move but hey) Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb is a good one. And I was the sick idiot that loved the cheezyness of Troll 2 and Once upon a time in Mexico.
Oldboy is a sure shooin. Same with The Djarleeing Limited. Too bad a lot of critics did not like it. They felt it was too arthouse for a hollywood movie and they did not get the dry humor.
I have never walked out of a movie. I never watch one alone. I always go with friends and I fall asleep if the movie is shit. I almost fell asleep in 21 though. (5th time I have seen it) The Cincinnati Kid (Steve McQueen) was a far better cards movie.
Congrats to the person who mentioned watching the Credits. I’m going to film school soon. I am in Networking/I.T but am still young and want to do something I enjoy before I have a desk job.
I am currently looking at my options for film school. I was to take writing (scripts), cinematography and directing as focuses. I have a above avarage skill and creative writing, but when I looked at Tisch (New York Film School) and Toronto Film School (I’m Canadian) they recommend that I submit a portfolio. Should I submit critical essays that I have written, plays, novella, short stories that I have written in the past (last couple of years) or produce new work? It also recommends that I have references but I won’t have any problem in that area.
>Judging by this post alone, you need to work on your English, my friend
Same for you ;) And yes I did repeat some aspects of my writing (in reference to the original post) and had poor sentence structure, but that’s what happens when you write on the internet; it makes you lazy.
