I don't get the hate on this flick. It definitely isn't amazing, but I'll go as far as to say it's just as good anything Mel Brooks was making at the time. There's a healthy blend of corny puns, slapstick, smart visual gags, and a few witty one-liners peppered in for good measure. Also the cast: Goldblum, Ed Begley, Jeffrey Jones, a randomly awesome Michael Richards. Geena Davis didn't hurt either. Suck it, haters.
